Citrus aurantifolia is a small, spreading evergreen tree usually of about 15 ft in height. It displays stiff spined, smooth oval leaves, ranging in shades of green. Small white flowers produce the dark green fruits. Dark green is the desired color for harvesting. The essential oil is cold expressed from the peel of the fruit. The color of the oil is yellow to light green. Lime Cold Pressed Essential Oil has an intensely fresh, sweet, citrus peel aroma.
