In scent it emancipates, providing a composition with juicy, ebullient energy even as it’s just begun. In the clever hands of Orto Parisi, bergamot’s good girl status is flattened and recreated, allowing for this peppy fruit to age into a delightfully insincere and more insouciant element. No longer the happy leader of the soprano section, bergamot accepts and dominates the chorus of this scent with – high pitched phlegmy wail and a one-note backup band of musk. On skin, the sparkling, sweet, brilliant zesty aspects of this fruit evolve: the shimmer effect turns into a dense, opaque translucency as if bergamot’s glitter has melted into thick plastic.
